The weather is just starting to cool down, at least on the East Coast, and I am getting excited to wear all the great new styles for Fall!
Even though it isn’t time to pull out the turtleneck and winter boots, you can still incorporate some of the new trends into your wardrobe.
One item that is perfect for transitioning into the new Fall season is the cardigan sweater.
Why: The cardigan is the perfect layering piece and so versatile that it can be worn with many items you already own.
How to Wear it: Go casual by wearing your cardigan with jeans and a shirt or achieve a more professional look by pairing it with a matching shell and nice pair of trousers.
Purchasing Tips: If you want a cardigan that you can dress up or down and wear with a number of items you already have in your closet, it is best to look for one that is classically-styled. You should avoid bright colors, embellishments, and big buttons as it will date the cardigan and limit what you can wear with it.
